I am a master’s level clinician working on my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Behavioral Health from Tulane University. I have trained in inpatient and outpatient hospital and private practice settings, working with adults and older adults from diverse backgrounds. My clinical and research training has focused on the intersection of psychological and medical illness, and I have worked with individuals seeking treatment for a wide range of psychiatric and medical conditions and symptoms. I specialize in providing treatment to individuals with cancer and caregivers who are experiencing distress, anxiety, depression, medical-related trauma, and other symptoms that impact their quality of life.
I aim to equip individuals with skills to manage unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that help them cope effectively and deepen their awareness of their internal experiences. In addition, I strive to cultivate a warm and nurturing environment that fosters reflections about living meaningfully, even in the face of suffering. To that end, I approach case conceptualization through a biopsychosocial lens and draw upon cognitive-behavioral, acceptance-based, meaning-centered, and mindfulness strategies to provide collaborative and strengths-based treatment. I’m looking forward to working with you!
